The first new treatments for gonorrhoea in a generation are being described as a "major milestone" in the fight against superbug strains of the bacteria, according to researchers.

A Worldwide Health Concern

The sexually transmitted infection are increasing worldwide, with data suggesting over 82 million new cases each year.
